Beosound Premiere

Overview

Beosound Premiere is a Bang & Olufsen Dolby Atmos soundbar unveiled in November 2025. Wall-mounted it measures 932 mm wide, 160 mm high and 133 mm deep. The body is aluminium, made at B&O's Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark, in Natural Aluminium, Gold Tone and Black Anthracite; fabric and wooden covers are sold separately. A universal stand that works on a table or on the wall comes in the box.

B&O lists ten custom drivers: four 4 x 3-inch racetrack drivers, two 2-inch front-firing and two 2-inch side-firing full-range drivers, a 1.5-inch up-firing driver and a 0.8-inch tweeter, driven by ten amplifiers. That gives seven internal channels: left, centre and right, two side-firing and two up-firing. B&O does not give an x.y.z figure for the bar. Its 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos decoder supports adding speakers, wired or wireless.

The TV connects over HDMI eARC; there is no HDMI input. A USB-C port works as a line-in with the included 3.5 mm adapter, and there is an Ethernet switch, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4. Music streams over AirPlay, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Deezer Connect, QPlay 2.0 and Beolink Multiroom. B&O says the bar needs an initial setup in the Bang & Olufsen app before everyday use. It has a touch interface on top and side buttons; a remote is not included, and the user guide says third-party remotes cannot control the bar itself.

The box contains an HDMI cable, a LAN cable, the mains cable, the universal stand, a wall plate, screws and a hex screwdriver, the installation and important-information guides, a drilling template, a tool for removing the speaker cover, the USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter and a polishing cloth.

What the specs mean

• Speaker setup not stated: B&O lists seven internal channels and a 7.1.4 decoder for systems with added speakers, but no x.y.z figure for the bar, so the spec sheet shows "Not stated".
• Room compensation: during setup the bar plays a sweeping sound to acoustically map the room, using its built-in microphone.
• HDMI eARC: the enhanced Audio Return Channel carries the TV's sound, including Dolby Atmos, to the bar over one HDMI cable.
• Audio formats: B&O lists Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus 7.1, Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby MAT, 7.1 multichannel PCM, MPEG-2 AAC and MPEG-4 HE-AAC.
• Speech enhancement and Night: speech enhancement makes dialogue easier to understand. The Night sound mode reduces bass and dynamic range so you can listen without disturbing others.
