Overview

The Enchant 1100 is the larger of Harman Kardon's two all-in-one Enchant soundbars. It first appears on Harman Kardon's US store in 2025, the model year this site uses. The bar is 1150 mm wide, 65 mm high and 130 mm deep, comes in black and can be wall-mounted with the L-shaped brackets in the box.

Harman Kardon lists 11 drivers: six 55 x 90 mm racetrack drivers, three 1-inch tweeters and two 2.75-inch up-firing full-range drivers for the height channels, with 315 W of total output. The bar plays Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and PureVoice is Harman Kardon's dialogue enhancement.

The TV connects over HDMI eARC or optical, and one HDMI input passes 4K video with HDR10 and Dolby Vision on to the TV. Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, AirPlay, Google Cast and Spotify Connect cover music streaming, and the USB port plays MP3 files on US units. The Harman Kardon One app sets the bar up. The TV remote can control it over HDMI-CEC or after IR learning. The Enchant Sub and a pair of Enchant Speakers are sold separately and pair with the bar wirelessly.

What the specs mean

  • Speaker setup "Not stated": Harman Kardon gives no channel layout for the bar on its own. It only names the full system with the Enchant Sub and two Enchant Speakers, which the owner's manual calls 5.1.4 and the spec sheet 7.1.4.
  • MultiBeam: Harman Kardon's processing that widens the soundstage around the room without extra speakers or wires.
  • Room calibration: the CALIBRATION button or the app starts a measurement that records the room's sound and adjusts the 3D effects to the room and the bar's position.
  • HDMI eARC: the enhanced Audio Return Channel sends the TV's sound, including Dolby Atmos, to the soundbar over one HDMI cable.
  • 4K passthrough with Dolby Vision: a player or console plugs into the HDMI input, and the video goes on to the TV with HDR10 or Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.3.

Overall value
A rough features-for-the-price score, compared with every soundbar listed. Bars gain points for things like Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi and room tuning, and lose points without them. Dolby Atmos with up-firing speakers earns more than virtual Atmos. Cheaper bars lose fewer points, or none, for missing premium extras (Dolby Atmos, HDMI eARC, up-firing speakers). 100 is the best deal listed. Based on specs only, not on how it sounds.

Price-band value
Like Overall value, but each soundbar is compared only with soundbars in its own price band: up to $300, $300–500, $500–800, $800–1,200 or over $1,200. 100 is the best deal in that band. Based on specs only, not on how it sounds.
